Chick Pea and Pasta Salad Recipe
Salad Ingredients
- 250 g [1 packet] whole grain pasta, cooked
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 diced tomatoes tomatoes (or can of small diced tomatoes)
- 2 cups cooked chickpeas, drained, rinsed
Dressing Ingredients
- 20 ml [5 tsp] peanut (or tahini, cashew butter)
- 2 cloves minced garlic
- 1 cup water or orange juice
- Tamari to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- Red pepper flakes to taste
Method
- Whisk the dressing ingredients until smooth
- Mix the salad ingredients together in a bowl
- Mix the dressing in with the salad
