Mixed Seed Bread Loaf Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 cup sunflower seeds
- ½ cup flaxseed (linseed)
- 1¼ cups quinoa flakes
- ⅓ cup psyllium husks
- ½ cup slivered almonds
- 2 tbl chia seeds
- ½ tsp salt
- 1½ cups water
- ¼ cup coconut oil
- 2 tbl rice syrup
Method
- Grease a medium 12cm x 22cm loaf tin
- Line base with baking paper
- Place flaxseeds, quinoa flakes, pysllium husks, almonds, salt in large bowl and mix well.
- Combine water, coconut oil, rice syrup in jug
- Add water, coconut oil to seed mixture and stir until well combined
- Press mixture into loaf tin with back of a spoon
- Refrigerate covered overnight
- Cook in oven at 160°C (320°F) for an hour or until a skewer comes out clean
- Stand in tin for 10 minutes
- Turn out onto a wire rack to cool
