Summary of the Advantages of a WFPB Diet
To eat fully consciously connects us to the miracle of all life.
The WHO states the endometriosis is incurable and the cause is unknown. Using references from peer-reviewed medical journals and case studies, I can show that this is not true.
It is caused by an overabundance of oestrogen, in particular estradiol which is the result of a high-fat, high-protein diet as advocated by low-carbohydrate and ketogenic diet advocates such as Dr James Muecke, the 2020 Australian of the Year. Many references are provided on my website.
I have a 150 page, 120000 word website explaining how informed choices relating to the food we consume can result in optimal outcomes for our health, the environment and for the animals that we share the earth.
When I published my book Low-Carbohydrate Mania: Fantasies, Illusions, and Myths, I posted Dr John McDougall a copy to his practice in Santa Rosa, California. We communicated by email for nearly a year. Mostly the correspondence was concerned with the views of William Davis and Robert Lustig. He viewed both with some – let’s say, bewilderment.
Whole-food, plant-based diets without added oils or simple carbohydrates are best for our health, the environment and the animals we share the earth with.

Wise Nutrition Website and Dr James Muecke, 2020 Australian of the Year
Each morning when I sign into my PC, I check the ABC (Australian Broadcasting Corporation) news, health and science bulletins.
The top news stories have frequent references to the problems that women have with their health (including endometriosis), the difficulty that they have in obtaining diagnosis and treatment and the suffering that they are enduring. It is estimated that in Australia 11%-16% of women in the relevant target population are afflicted by this devastating condition.
There has been 7 articles in the Newcastle Herald during December 2021 and January 2022 featuring Dr. James Muecke and Dr. Peter Bruckner, a sport’s medical clinician, on how to prevent and cure diabetes with an animal-based diet that is high in fat and low in carbohydrates.
Muecke and Bruckner both state that we should be eating more eggs, cheese, meat and dark chocolate to minimise diabetes, its associated blindness (diabetic retinopathy) and diabetic neuropathy.
The WHO states the endometriosis is incurable and the cause is unknown. Using references from peer-reviewed medical journals and case studies, I can show that this is not true. I have written to the ABC on several occasions, with references to peer-reviewed articles
and links to Neal Barnard’s video telling Katherine Lawrence’s story of her recovery from endometriosis in less than 2 months. Despite the fact that all complaints to the ABC must be responded to, I have not received one response. It could be a life-changing event for 100,000s of women and men if the ABC followed one or two of these women over a period of 2 months following the introduction of a whole-food, plant-based diet.

Methionine Dependent Cancers
Homocysteine is a non-protein amino acid. It is synthesized in the body from methionine, which is a sulfur containing amino-acid.
Methionine is much more prevalent in animal products than plant products. Rotten eggs smell the way they do because the sulfur produces a number of sulfur containing gases including hydrogen sulfide— rotten egg gas.
A high level is of homocysteine is associated with an increased risk for chronic inflammation, cardiovascular disease, and Alzheimer’s disease.
Many human cancer cell and primary tumors have a requirement for methionine, an essential amino acid.
Methionine-free or methionine-deprived diet causes a regression of a variety of animal tumours.

Japanese Diet, Cuisine and Health
Japan is at the top of the list for life expectancy and health. There are strong regional variations although the diet in recent decades has become more westernised and the variations in diet are becoming less distinct throughout Japan.
A wide variety of dipping sauces accompany most meals. Udon is a thick wheat flour noodle and yakisoba is a buckwheat noodle. Soba is the Japanese name for buckwheat.
Despite the increase in dairy, egg and meat consumption in recent decades, Japan (according to the National Health and Nutrition Surveys) still consumes a predominately plant-based diet.
Hookaido had the lowest percentage of plant-based foods at 74.5% in 1980 and 82.2% in 2012. In 1980, Kanto II had the highest percentage at 78.2% with Hokuriku topping the list in 2012 with 84.5%.
Australia and the US consume approximately 30% of their diet from plant-based sources.

When Vegan Diets Do Not Work
It is not uncommon for people to claim that they have tried a vegan diet and it simply did not work for them. Not all vegan diets are healthy.
Much publicity is given to the longevity of the people of Japan and Okinawa (an archipelago that stretches from southern Japan to Taiwan). However, the population with the longest lifespan and the highest levels of health on the planet is the vegan Californian Seventh-day Adventists.
People are not predisposed to vegan diets or otherwise. When it comes to nutrition, we are pretty much the same – allergies being one significant difference.
Below are components of a healthy whole-food, plant-based diet. Many people on a unhealthy vegan diet are missing a number of important components of an optimal diet.

Bats, Fish and Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS)
Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a type of motor neuron disease, a group of rare neurological diseases that mainly involve the nerve cells (neurons) responsible for controlling voluntary muscle movement. Voluntary muscles produce movements like chewing, walking, and talking.
Despite dozens of studies being published linking ALS with neurotoxins that can be found in fish, it is unlikely that you will hear this information from a doctor or motor neuron disease support groups.

What is a Heart Attack?
Below is an overview of the mechanism that leads to cardiac myocardial infarctions (or heart attack). It took many decades for a basic understanding of this process.
The consensus at the beginning of the 20th century was that heart disease is a normal part of aging. In 1913, a 28 year old pathologist, Nikolay Anitschkow (or Anichkov), working at the Military Medical Academy in St. Petersburg, showed that by feeding rabbits cholesterol dissolved in sunflower oil induced vascular lesions closely resembling those of human atherosclerosis, both grossly and microscopically. Controls fed only the sunflower oil showed no lesions.
Another difficulty in understanding heart disease is that there are a number of factors involved. Researchers, practitioners and the public become attached to one aspect. Some argue passionately regarding one aspect of heart disease and become blind to other factors.

The Truth About Soy Myth
A widely distributed article Tragedy and Hype : Third International Soy Symposium written by Sally Fallon and Mary G. Enig in March 2000 documents a series of issues relating to soy consumption.
They claim that “Soy is the next asbestos”, that it contains “anti-nutrients”, causes dementia and Alzheimer’s disease, reproductive problems and much more.
The book The Whole Soy Story: The Dark Side of America's Favorite Health Food is written by Kaayla Daniel. Sally Fallon was the editor of the book.
According to the book,
Soy is not a health food, does not prevent disease and has not even been proven safe. Epidemiological, clinical and laboratory studies link soy to malnutrition, digestive problems, thyroid dysfunction, cognitive decline, reproductive disorders, even heart disease and cancer.
Sally Fallon and Mary Enig are co-founders in 1999 of the Weston A Price Foundation. Kaayla Daniel is also a board member of the Weston A Price Foundation. Joseph Mercola, a board member of Weston A Price foundation, is another vocal critic of soy.
The longest lived people on earth are from the Okinawa archipelago in southern Japan who consume large amounts of soy products.
