Introduction to Richard Harding
In 2014, just after my 60th birthday, the results from a blood test came back with abnormal red and white blood cell counts and an elevated bilirubin. Elevated bilirubin is a sign that the liver is not functioning as well as it should.
I was the same weight I was at high school (70kg, 154lb). I kept a skipping rope outside the back door. I did 1000 skips when it was time to have a break.
It took 8 months to diagnose what the problem was. I have myeloma which is a cancer of the bone marrow that can no longer properly produce red and white blood cells. As a result, the immune system is compromised.
Even after I was diagnosed my doctor told me, “If you are going to get cancer, myeloma is one of the best to get.”.
If he told me the truth, that is, “You are really sick. Go home and pack your bags and go to hospital this evening”, the outcome would be different.
I was booked into the regional myeloma clinic for treatment. I had pneumonia at the time he made that assessment which is what nearly killed me. Twice Ruth was told that I would not be coming home. This is in 2014. It is great to prove your highly trained specialist is wrong.
The life expectancy for multiple myeloma patients is 2-3 years.

Diet and Inflammatory Bowel Disease
Crohn's disease is a big challenge. Crohn’s and ulcerative colitis are quite similar.
According to the medical profession, Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis are lifelong inflammatory diseases that affect the digestive system. Crohn’s disease can affect any part of the gastrointestinal tract. Ulcerative colitis is associated with inflammation in the large intestine.
Inflammatory bowel diseases [IBD] occur almost exclusively in parts of the world where the diet is high in meat and dairy foods. IBD is rare in countries where a starch-based diet and largely vegetarian meals are consumed.
Avoid dairy products, eggs, chocolate, wheat and citrus fruits. Completely eliminate all fats. There is no such thing as healthy oils. That includes olive oil, coconut oil, fish oil and any salad dressing such as mayonnaise.

Blood Cancers and a Whole-food Plant-based Diet
My name is Richard Harding.
I have been a Multiple Myeloma patient for 11 years which was diagnosed when 1 was 60 years old. Twice, 11 years ago [2014] my wife, Ruth, was told that I would not be coming home from hospital.
I have been involved with the teaching and the design of diploma and certificate courses for nutrition for two registered training organisations.
After six years of attempting to obtain compliance, we gave up.
I have a 150 page, 200000 word website advocating a Whole-Food, Plant-Based diets with NO ADDED OILS. No dressings. No olive oil, coconut oil or fish oil. (Very important).
Seventh-day Adventists show that Californian Seventh-day Adventists have a much greater life expectancy and a higher level of health than the average American.

Introduction to Wise Nutrition Coaching
To eat fully consciously connects us to the miracle of all life.
The WHO states the endometriosis is incurable and the cause is unknown. Using references from peer-reviewed medical journals and case studies, I can show that this is not true.
It is caused by an overabundance of oestrogen, in particular estradiol which is the result of a high-fat, high-protein diet as advocated by low-carbohydrate and ketogenic diet advocates such as Dr James Muecke, the 2020 Australian of the Year. Many references are provided on my website.
I have a 150 page, 120000 word website explaining how informed choices relating to the food we consume can result in optimal outcomes for our health, the environment and for the animals that we share the earth.
When I published my book Low-Carbohydrate Mania: Fantasies, Illusions, and Myths, I posted Dr John McDougall a copy to his practice in Santa Rosa, California. We communicated by email for nearly a year. Mostly the correspondence was concerned with the views of William Davis and Robert Lustig. He viewed both with some – let’s say, bewilderment.
Whole-food, plant-based diets without added oils or simple carbohydrates are best for our health, the environment and the animals we share the earth with.
